Tom Haslam
Wedding Photographer
Alright, so by now you’ve probably gathered that my name is Tom and I take photos.
I’m also a dad, a husband and lover of the outdoors (Yep, I’m that idiot wearing shorts in winter).
I try to spend as much time outside as possible, whether that’s up a mountain, at the coast or just stomping in puddles with my daughter.
I found my love for photography through a desire to capture the landscape, and very quickly found a passion for chasing those fleeting moments of light. I always try and bring these elements into my wedding galleries. What I’m trying to say here, is if the light’s good, I’m dragging you outside for some photos!

But you don’t even have a studio!
Something I get asked all the time is why I chose my business name.
Honestly, I didn’t just want to be another “first name - last name photography”. ‘Old Pine Studios’ is a nod to the outdoors, I live amongst the forests and woodlands of South Wales, and I do a lot of my work there on family photo shoots. It’s also inspired by one of my favourite artists.
I wanted my business name to reflect where I live, where I work and my love for the outdoors.
I’ll be your biggest cheerleader!
I’m relaxed in my approach to life, and that extends to capturing weddings.
I’ll be there for all the key moments, cheering you on through every ‘I do’, shedding a tear at every emotional speech and capturing every moment as it unfolds naturally around me.
