I use the latest professional line of Sony cameras, renowned for their durability and world class image quality in challenging lighting situations. I carry a wide selection of lenses, so whether your bridal prep is in a cupboard under the stairs or the vicar’s being grumpy and makes me stand at the back of the church, I’ve got you covered!
I carry two cameras at all times, which each record to two pro-grade SD cards. So even if I break a camera, or my SD card fails, your coverage won’t be compromised and your images are safe.
I carry an abundance of flashes and lighting options, as well as lenses that are designed for low light situations. So even if Uncle Bob spills his pint on the fuse box and the lights go out, we’re still in business!
Any spare space in my bag is usually crammed with sweets to bribe kids/drunk groomsmen to behave themselves, spare confetti, a first-aid kit, and a sewing kit incase you skimped out on the bridesmaid dresses.

Lots of people feel awkward infront of the camera, but I make every effort to make you feel comfortable. Booking a pre-wedding shoot will give you an opportunity to spend some time in front of the lens in a relaxed, low pressure environment.
Weddings can be overwhelming at the best of times. With family and friends lining up to get a piece of you, the last thing you need is one more person shoving a camera in your face and trying to get your attention.
My objective is to blend in, become more of a guest than someone you’ve ‘hired’. The greatest images from your day will be the candid moments, the in-betweens when you didn’t even realise a photo was being taken.
I like to take time to get some shots of you alone together. It’s usually a couple of 15 minute sessions, where we’ll go for a walk, and get some natural, un-staged images of just the two of you. There will be no forced poses, but rather some gentle guidance from me to make the most of our time together.
If you feel like you need extra guidance, or want to try some fancy poses then that’s cool too. My job is to capture the day in a way that’s right for you, so my approach is always led by my couples.
With all that said, if there’s a burning sunset then I will be dragging you from the bar to get some images!

I’m nestled away in the pines here at Sherwood Forest - Nottinghamshire.
We are blessed with some beautiful wedding venues locally.
However, I’m always up for a road trip! So, from the Cornish lanes, to a castle in Wales or up to the wild and free Scottish Highlands, whereever your special day may be marked, I’m down to party!
I’ll never charge for travel within mainland UK.

We ain’t living in the film days! I’ll be capturing images from start to finish, and I never limit galleries to a maximum number.
Everything worth keeping will be in the gallery. Naturally, it varies depending on how long I’m there, what’s cracking off on the day, if you’ve paid for a second photographer, how busy the dance floor is etc.
For a full day wedding from bridal prep to evening shenanigans you can expect roughly 450-650 images.

You’ll always receive 10 edited images in a ‘sneak peek’ gallery within 48 hours of your wedding. Great for sharing the news that you’ve ‘tied the knot’ to all the family you chose not to invite!
I typically deliver galleries within 6 weeks.

You’ll often hear of photographers limiting their group shots to a certain number, and there’s a reason for it. It takes time!
Time away from your guests, time away from each other, and time away from the opportunity to photograph other key moments that might be happening. They are however a great chance to get some images of the people who are most important to you together in one image.
You’ll receive a pre-wedding questionnaire ahead of your big day, where you’ll be able to list 8 group shots.
You’re welcome to give me any additional shots, and we’ll either get them during the group shots if we’re making good time, or we’ll get them throughout the day if/when the opportunity arises.

Incase you’re unsure, the RAW files are the images that come straight out of the camera. They are essentially the negatives that you’d get from a film camera. Most phones/tablets etc won’t even be able to display them.
Unlike your snazzy iPhone, the images out of the camera are flat, dull and not the kind of thing you’d hang on your wall.
It’s my job to go through your images one by one, select and edit the RAW file using professional editing software, bring it to life and deliver it to you.
I never limit my galleries to a certain number, you’ll get a full resolution edited JPEG of every single image that’s worth having!

It’s never happened, and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure it never does.
However, I am human after all, and have steps in place to make sure you’ll have a top-notch photographer in my place.
I have a large network of professional wedding photographer friends, who I would trust to work in my absence.
In the interest of transparency, I’d pay them to cover the event, making sure they’re fully briefed on what’s expected. You would have their details so you can get to know them a little. They would transfer all the files to me and I would edit and deliver as usual.

I am covered by public liability insurance and my business is fully registered.
When ever working with new venues, I always ask if they require anything from me beforehand so that I’m ready to rock as soon as I arrive! I’m self sufficient with my gear and never need to use any plug sockets, so PAT testing is never an issue.

I deliver my images through an online password protected gallery.
When your gallery is ready you’ll receive an email. There will be a link taking you straight to your gallery and you’ll log in using the password detailed in the email.
You may share the link/password with whoever you wish and they’ll also have full access.
Once here you can view all of your images. You’ll have the option to make albums of your favourites, share images directly to social media and download them as full resolution JPEG files.
You also have the option to order prints/canvasses etc directly from the gallery. Orders are fulfilled by my recommended provider and delivered directly to your door. I make a small commission from all items bought directly through the gallery.
If you’d like to see an example gallery before committing booking, just say the word and I’ll send one over!

Depends on who you ask, really.
Some suppliers have it in their contract, I choose not to. It’s greatly appreciated to be presented with a hot meal in the middle of a 14 hour working day, but by no means is it expected. Just let me know either way and I can make my own arrangements if necessary.
Disclaimer. I cannot be held responsible for any canapés that go missing or any sweets from the candy cart that find their way into my mouth.

I offer family shoots, corporate headshots, pet portraits, product photography, all manner of things really.
If you have something in mind and think we’d be a good fit then drop me a message and we’ll go from there!
